Makerspaces….a different perspective

I thought this article was timely because Makerspaces have been a hot commodity to libraries for the past few years.  I agree with Ms. Valenza in that informal learning opportunities within the library shouldn’t be confined to certain types of activities. Before the term, “makerspace” was even coined, libraries have always been spaces for informal learning and collaboration.
